The Lexington Board of Education met in special session in the boardroom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011. Mr. Robert Whitney, President, called the meeting to order.

Roll was called by the Superintendent.

RESOLUTION

60-11 Motion by Mr. Blackstone, seconded by Mr. Stoner, to approve the resolution to place a 7.6 mill, 5 year emergency operating levy on the November 8, 2011 ballot.

OTHER BUSINESS:

61-11 Motion by Mr. Heck, seconded by Mrs. Wilson, to approve the following tuition students for the 2011-2012 school year:

Elizabeth Hamler - Continuing, Central Elementary, grade 2

Jacob Cadle - Continuing, Central Elementary, grade 4

Katie Them - Continuing, High School, grade 11
