The Lexington Board of Education met in regular session in the boardroom at 7:10 p.m.
on Monday, January 11, 2010. Mr. Robert Whitney, President, called the meeting to
order. Roll was called by the Treasurer.

05-10 Motion by Mrs. Wilson, seconded by Mr. Blackstone to approve the following financial
items:
1. The minutes from the December regular meeting were approved.
2. The monthly financial report for December 2009 was presented.
3. The Treasurer requested approval of FY 2011 Tax Budget.

High School Diplomas: Approve Mrs. Tracy Montgomery, as selected by the senior
class, to pass out diplomas to the members of the class of 09-10 during the graduation
exercises on June 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
Substitute Lists: Approve substitute lists dated 1/5/2010 as presented by MOESC.

Kindergarten Waiver: Recommend approving a resolution requesting an Ohio Department
of Education waiver from providing all day, every day kindergarten during the 2010 – 2011
school year due to fiscal constraints and space constraints.
