Congratulations to the Band of Gold for achieving a Superior Rating at OMEA State Marching Band Finals. The band has been to State every year since 1987 and this is the 33rd Superior Rating in the program's history.

Lexington High School crowned their homecoming queen on September 30th during an assembly at school which was the first event held in the new Performing Arts Center. Kenley M. was the named queen. Later that night, the court was recognized at halftime during the football game.
