The Lexington Board of Education met in Special session in the boardroom at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014. Mr. Robert Whitney, President, called the meeting to order. Roll was called by the Treasurer.  

Roll Call – Members present: Mr. Loren Blackstone, Mr. Jeff Heck, Mr. Keith Stoner, Mrs. Sue Weirich, Mr. Robert Whitney --------------5                 

EXECUTIVE SESSION

 36-14   Motion by Mr. Blackstone, seconded by Mr. Heck to enter into executive session to consider

            the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a

            public employee or official, or the   investigation of charges or complaints against a public

            employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual unless the public employee, official, licensee,

            or regulated individual requests a public hearing and negotiations.

37-14   Motion by Mr. Whitney, seconded by Mr. Stoner to employ Steve Lifer as Treasurer of Lexington School Board.

                                Nay: Mr. Blackstone, Mr. Heck, Mrs. Weirich ---------------------------------------3  

                             Motion failed.

38-14   Motion by Mr. Heck, seconded by Mr. Blackstone to offer the position of Treasurer to Jason Whitesel.
